About This Gallery

Fans of The Wire remember Wendell Pierce as Detective William “the Bunk” Moreland, and now he’s come back to his theatrical roots in Lincoln Center Theater’s off-Broadway production of Broke-ology. Nathan Louis Jackson’s funny and touching four-character family play stars Pierce as the patriarch and is directed by Thomas Kail (In the Heights). After the opening night performance on October 5, the sharp-dressed company took a short walk from the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theatre to O’Neals to celebrate.
