Take 20 of the world’s best ballroom dancers, put them onstage at the Longacre Theatre, and what do you get? Burn the Floor, the sexy, super-exciting dance show that’s finally made it to Broadway after 10 successful years on tour around the world. On August 2, the rain clouds parted just in time for the show’s opening night performance, which was greeted by cheers from the delighted crowd. Afterward, the show’s gorgeous cast (including guests Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff of Dancing with the Stars) quick-stepped uptown to Providence 57 for a sizzling bash. Broadway.com boogied along to capture all the excitement just for you.
