Tony winner Nathan Lane plays a professor spiraling out of control in the revival of this dark comedy.

Ivey, Ovenden and Gray Join Nathan Lane in Butley

Dana Ivey, Julian Ovenden and Pamela J. Gray will join Nathan Lane in the Broadway mounting of Simon Gray's Butley. Previews are scheduled to begin at the Booth Theatre on October 5.

Ivey is a four-time Tony Award nominee, having earned nods for her performances in Heartbreak House, Sunday in the Park with George, The Last Night of Ballyhoo and The Rivals. Ivey's long list of Broadway credits also includes Present Laughter, Indiscretions, Sex and Longing, Waiting in the Wings, Major Barbara, A Day in the Death of Joe Egg and Henry IV.

Ovenden starred in Michael Grandage-helmed Donmar Warehouse productions of Merrily We Roll Along and Grand Hotel. His other UK theatrical credits include Eminently a Victorian at the Hampstead Theatre and A Woman of No Importance at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. In America, he is best known for playing Jason on the television series Related.

Gray appeared with Lane in Butley at the Huntington Theatre Company. She appeared in previews of Night Must Fall on Broadway but was replaced by J. Smith-Cameron prior to opening. Her off-Broadway credits include Hard Feelings at the Women's Project Theatre.

Butley, directed by Nicholas Martin, will have its official Broadway opening on October 25.
