Roderick Hill
Roderick Hill, who recently played Nicolas in the short-lived musical Lestat, joined the cast of Butley on October 10 as Mr. Gardner, replacing James McMenamin. The revival of Simon Gray's black comedy, starring Nathan Lane and directed by Nicholas Martin, began previews at the Booth Theatre on October 5 and will open on Broadway on October 25.
In addition to playing the title character's best friend in Lestat, Hill has appeared in the Royal Shakespeare Company/Theatre for a New Audience production of Cymbeline. Regional credits include Singing Forest, What the Butler Saw, Nerds: The Musical, Diosa, Much Ado About Nothing, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Romeo and Juliet, Master Harold…and the Boys and Twelfth Night.
