A Carlin Home Companion: Growing Up With George Tickets

A Carlin Home Companion: Growing up with George was born on a comedy cruise where Lewis Black demanded Kelly’s participation. Kelly had no idea what she would do, but was not going to pass up a chance to go on a cruise with Lewis and his comic friends. On the morning of the event, she picked nine videos from her father’s DVDs, played them in chronological order and told family stories. The audience of hardcore comedy fans and comics laughed and cried. She was moved by the idea of taking her father to the cities he had played during his career so that his fans could have one last time with him - a “George Carlin Farewell Tour” of sorts. At the same time, they'd get to meet Kelly and hear her story. Deftly weaving her amusing yet poignant family stories with classic video footage of her father’s career and family memorabilia, Carlin takes the audience on a roller coaster ride of emotions and pulls back the curtain on her life with her father off stage.
