Exclusive! Capturing the Original Cast Recording of Curtains

The old school tradition for a Broadway musical is that, the first day off after its opening night, the cast heads into a mid-town recording studio and makes the original cast album. Following their March 22 opening, that's exactly what the company of Curtains did. Lead by stars David Hyde Pierce, Debra Monk, Karen Ziemba, Jason Danieley and Noah Racey, the entire company of the new old-fashioned musical comedy by one of Broadway's legendary composing teams, John Kander and the late Fred Ebb, as well the Tony-winning lyricist and librettist Rupert Holmes, marched into the Legacy Recording Studio on West 39th Street in Manhattan on Monday, March 26, to put Curtains on the record. For this historic occasion, we caught an exclusive glimpse. Check it out.
