Pre-B'way Scoundrels Extends Again at Old Globe

The pre-Broadway tryout of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels has been extended a week for a second time due to box office demand. The show, which was extended through October 31, will now run at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego through November 7.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels to Play the Imperial

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is headed to the Imperial Theatre, as we previously mentioned. The musical will open on the Great White Way on March 17, according to Variety. Norbert Leo Butz, Sara Gettelfinger, Joanna Gleason, Gregory Jbara, John Lithgow and Sherie Rene Scott are set to star.

Broadway.com has learned that Gregory Jbara has been cast as Andre in the Broadway-bound musical Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. He is the final lead to be named in a cast that already includes Norbert Leo Butz, Sara Gettelfinger, Joanna Gleason, John Lithgow and Sherie Rene Scott.

As Ken Mandelbaum mentioned on May 4, John Lithgow will indeed star in the Broadway-bound musical Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, according to a production spokesperson. Sara Gettelfinger has also joined the cast as Jolene, a country bumpkin who falls in love with Lithgow's character. Broadway.com has learned that Tony Award-winner Joanna Gleason and Sherie Rene Scott are set to appear alongside previously reported star Norbert Leo Butz in the Broadway-bound musical Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
