About This Gallery

Sure, winning a Tony Award is great, but the real judge of someone's status in the theater world is how deliciously you're spoofed by Forbidden Broadway! Christine Ebersole, who closed Grey Gardens last month, headed over to the 47th Street Theatre on August 7 to see how Forbidden creator Gerard Alessandrini pokes fun at her Tony-winning take on the show's Little Edie, bringing composer Scott Frankel and co-star Erin Davie with her. After the show, Ebersole shared a laugh with Janet Dickinson, her partner-in-spoof, and the rest of the cast.
