"No other Broadway show is doing what we are doing," featured player Darius Nichols told Broadway.com of Hair's participation in the rally. "When shows go dark for a night they tend to do it for reasons or events within our industry. This is a social cause, one handed to us by the last generation. We are proud to represent our industry by continuing it."
