For 5th Anniversary, Lance Bass Shimmies into Hairspray
Following in the footsteps of Joey Fatone, who stepped into starring roles on Broadway in Rent and Little Shop of Horrors, former 'N Sync-er Lance Bass gave Broadway a shot this week, officially debuting as the crooning Corny Collins in Hairspray on Thursday, August 16—a date that also marked the Tony Award-winning Best Musical of 2003's fifth anniversary on the Great White Way. To celebrate the occasion, producer Margo Lion gathered up Bass and the current cast for a post-show party at Times Square's Spotlight Live, where Hairspray alums far and wide had a blast. And so did Joey, who was there to welcome his boy band bro to the scene! Check it out.
