"That’s number 13, A-Rod of the Yankees. He’s real pretty and real good at what he does!"

If anyone is familiar with living out of a dressing room, it's Priscilla Lopez. Since making her Broadway debut in 1967, she has starred in hits such as Company, Pippin and (of course!) A Chorus Line. Now making herself at home at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, where In the Heights opened in March 2008, she has nothing but positive things to say about her dressing room. "I love this space!" she says. "It’s the furthest from the stage door, so it’s very quiet and calm here. This is a company full of young people and they all come in making their presence known! I’m tucked away very calmly with my wonderful roomie Olga Merediz—we're the senior citizens of our company and we get along fabulously well." We asked Lopez to share a few of her favorite personal items with you. Here they are!

"My sister made this quilt for me. She’s not with me anymore, so every time I wrap myself up on those cold winter nights or even just glance up, she’s with me."

"These are my babies [daughter Gabriella and son Alex]. My beautiful, beautiful babies!"

"That’s number 13, A-Rod of the Yankees. He’s real pretty and real good at what he does. Whatever he does!"

"This is my first theater family, the original cast of A Chorus Line, when the show was closing on Broadway. Phil Donahue had us on [his TV show] and we performed numbers on his show. There’s a few of us missing now, I’m sad to say."

"This is my husband and me in better days! Everyone always thought we were brother and sister, but I always thought he was prettier than me."
