Comedian George Lopez was in New York over the weekend following the announcement of his forthcoming talk show on the TBS network. Appropriately enough, the popular Mexican-American performer made time for the May 24 performance of In the Heights, Broadway’s musical celebration of the close-knit Latino community in Washington Heights. After the performance, Lopez went backstage at the Richard Rodgers Theatre to congratulate the cast. Take a look!
