Among the many theatergoers delighted by Tovah Feldshuh’s tour-de-force performance in Irena’s Vow? Minister and activist Al Sharpton, who took in the show on April 16 at the Walter Kerr Theatre with his daughter Dominique. Obviously impressed with the story of Irena Gut Opdyke, a deeply religious young Catholic woman who risked her life to hide 12 Jews during World War II, the Rev. Al congratulated the show’s star backstage after the show. Take a look.
