This Tony-winning rags-to-riches story is just too good to be true!
When Tony Soprano wants to come backstage after the show, you let him. And that's just what happened at Jersey Boys when James Gandolfini, the star of HBO's smash hit The Sopranos, recently took in the new musical about those other singing fellas from the Garden State. But Gandolfini wasn't alone. In an act of the actor's appreciation and hospitality, Gandolfini treated the U.S. soldier who, now released from his tour of duty, had been assigned to Gandolfini when the star had visited the troups in Iraq last year. So, did Gandolfini give the Boys at the August Wilson Theatre any advice about being from Jersey? Fuhgettaboutit!
