Edward Albee’s mysterious dark drama The Lady From Dubuque has extended its run at the End Stage in off-Broadway's new Pershing Square Signature Center. Starring Jane Alexander and directed by David Esbjornson, the Signature Theatre production will officially open March 5. The Lady From Dubuque was originally scheduled to play a limited engagement until March 25, but will now run through April 1.
The Lady From Dubuque is the story of a late-night party that becomes strange and mysterious when two unexpected guests arrive. Although the night begins with an innocent game of Twenty Questions, the question "Who are you?" soon gains a new and desperate meaning. The Lady From Dubuque first opened on Broadway at the Morosco Theatre on January 31, 1980.
In addition to Alexander, The Lady From Dubuque stars Michael Hayden, Catherine Curtin, Peter Francis James, Tricia Paoluccio, Laila Robins, Thomas Jay Ryan and CJ Wilson.
