Is love what leaves us at a loss for words? This is the question in Julia Cho’s The Language Archive, in which a man obsessed with the preservation of dying languages can’t find the words to talk to his own wife or recognize the verbal cues coming from his smitten research assistant. Broadway.com has a first look at the New York premiere of this comedy featuring Jayne Houdyshell and directed by Mark Brokaw. The Language Archive will officially open October 17 at the Roundabout Theatre Company’s Laura Pels Theatre. Click through for a look at Joan Marcus' production shots of this new comedy!
