The 'Next Fall" family
When the new play Next Fall first opened off-Broadway last year, no one suspected that its funny and moving story would win over critics and audiences so completely it would move to Broadway. That’s exactly what happened, however, and stars Patrick Breen, Maddie Corman, Sean Dugan, Patrick Heusinger, Connie Ray and Cotter Smith are moving with it. We talked to the tight ensemble at an early morning meet and greet at Sardi’s Restaurant on January 29, getting the scoop on what makes this original piece tick. Playwright Geoffrey Nauffts and director Sheryl Kaller were also on hand, eager to sing the praises of a cast hungry to take their place on Broadway’s Helen Hayes Theatre stage. Watch the video to find out what Next Fall will be bringing to the Great White Way when it begins previews on February 16.
