Gossip Girl here, reporting live from the Booth Theatre, where superhot college freshman Nate Archibald (er…actor Chace Crawford) took in the October 3 performance of Next to Normal with his equally beautiful mother and grandmother. (Hey, the genes come from somewhere!) Why was Nate (make that Chace) spending a Saturday night on Broadway? Call it a family thing. Crawford came to support Aaron Tveit, who plays Nate’s snooty cousin Tripp Vanderbilt on the NYC-based TV show. Of course, Chace has an extra reason to be interested in Broadway-style singing and dancing, since he has signed on to star as Ren in the forthcoming feature film remake of Footloose! Check out a Gossip Guy’s big night out with the family. XOXO
