And Now This Is Happening, New Piece from [title of show] Team, to Get Lab Production

Off-Broadway’s Vineyard Theatre will present a developmental lab production of And Now This Is Happening, a new piece from the team that created the musical [title of show], including Broadway.com host Susan Blackwell (Side by Side by Susan Blackwell). The show will be mounted at an unspecified date in spring 2011 in a production closed to the press.

The credits for And Now This is Happening are as follows: conceived and written by Hunter Bell and Susan Blackwell, with original music by Jeff Bowen, Blackwell & Larry Pressgrove; created by Bell, Michael Berresse, Blackwell, Heidi Bickenstaff, Bowen and Pressgrove; directed by Berresse, with musical direction and arrangements by Pressgrove.

The Vineyard launched [title of show] in 2006 before the musical transferred to Broadway in 2008. The cast won a Broadway.com Audience Award for Favorite Ensemble, and Bell received a 2009 Tony nomination for Best Book.

In addition to the lab production of And Now This Is Happening, Vineyard Theatre's 2010-2011 season will include the previously announced productions of Will Eno's Middletown in October 2010, and Lerner & Lane's musical On a Clear Day You Can See Forever reconceived and directed by Michael Mayer in winter 2011.
