Will Chase and Eden Espinosa Sign On for Final Months of Rent

The cast of Rent confirmed to run at least through June 15 also includes Adam Kantor as Mark, Michael McElroy as Collins, Justin Johnston as Angel, Rodney Hicks as Benny, Tamyra Gray as Mimi and Merle Dandridge as Joanne.

Chase most recently played Valentin in the Signature Theater of Virginia production of Kiss of the Spider Woman. His Broadway credits include High Fidelity, Lennon, Miss Saigon, The Full Monty and Aida. He joined the ensemble of Rent in 1998, going on numerous times as Roger, and assumed the part in the Broadway production in 2005.

Espinosa played Elphaba in the Broadway and Los Angeles productions of Wicked and appeared in the Broadway production of Brooklyn. On May 6, she begins performances in the title role of Flora, the Red Menace for L.A.'s Reprise series opposite Manoel Felciano and Megan Lawrence.
