He's seen the lights go out on Broadway—and now he's seen them come back on and reflect off a thousand flecks of body glitter. Billy Joel, song-spinner extraordinaire and the Tony-winning musical mind behind Movin' Out, rocked out to some familiar tunes on Broadway on October 17 at Rock of Ages. The mix-tape musical doesn't include any of Grammy Award winner Joel's works, but that doesn't mean the composer was any less amped to meet the production's rockers face to face. Stars Constantine Maroulis, Kerry Butler and James Carpinello were equally pumped to meet their guest, wasting no time in welcoming him backstage at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.
