A rock musical with the greatest hits of the '80s.
Lea Michele totes along two experienced theatergoers to Rock of Ages: dad and mom, who've seen their little girl in four Broadway shows (so far).
When new hit series Glee first premiered on FOX, it blew the roof off of Youtube and iTunes alike with a multiharmonied cover of Journey's single-that-will-not-die, "Don't Stop Believin.'" As soon as we heard it, our minds jumped straight to Broadway (naturally), where the Rock of Ages cast rocks the same song nightly as its crowd-pleasing finale number. So imagine our delight when worlds collided and Glee star Lea Michele headed over to the show to see her (friendly) competitors in person. Michele, who everyone knows is a Broadway rock-show veteran, had two experienced audience members with her for the campy-fun 80s valentine: mom and dad! Will Glee be taking any other songs from the Rock of Ages playlist? You'll have to tune in and see for yourself. In the meantime, here's a few shots of Michele's visit.
