The most beloved swamp-dwelling ogre of all time makes his Broadway debut.
The company of Shrek held an early morning meet and greet at the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers on October 14. Stars Brian d’Arcy James, Sutton Foster, Daniel Breaker, Christopher Sieber and John Tartaglia were all present to chat about their latest pride and joy: the upcoming big-budget musical adaptation of the super-popular animated movies. Also in attendance were director Jason Moore, librettist/lyricist David Lindsay-Abaire and composer Jeanine Tesori. Broadway.com talked with all of them, of course, and learned the show’s got beaucoup laughs, sights, sounds and heart, not to mention a few bodily noises, too.
