If the traders on the NASDAQ floor were feeling a little bored, we’re pretty sure adorable Shrek star Brian d’Arcy James and cast members from the whimsical musical perked them up. James was on hand to ring the opening bell signaling another day of big business in Midtown Manhattan. As you probably know, actors do not keep banker’s hours, but nevertheless the Broadway stars were bright-eyed and bushy-tailed with nary an ogre-like complaint about the time (8:30am!)—even on a two-show day. Hats off to James and co. for adding some sunshine to another workday.
