He was mentored by the likes of Tony Randall. He’s worked with Sondheim and been nominated for two Tony Awards. But South Pacific star Danny Burstein received perhaps that most beloved of all Broadway accolades on February 3, when Sardi’s welcomed his new caricature onto their world-famous Wall of Fame. There to show their love and support were many a South Pacific castmate, including the newly-pregnant-but not-quite-showing Kelli O’Hara, and Burstein’s wife, Rebecca Luker, now in her third year of playing Mrs. Banks in Mary Poppins.
