About the Show

Broadway's Tony-winning hit Spamalot is making its way to London. The show will have its first performance at the Palace Theatre on October 2, according to a production spokesperson.

Lovingly "ripped-off" from the internationally famous comedy team's most popular motion picture, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Spamalot tells the legendary tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table and the quest for the Holy Grail. According to production materials, it features "a chorus line of legless knights, men in tights with legs, killer rabbits and sexy dancing divas." The show won 2005 Tony Awards for Best Musical, Best Director for Mike Nichols and Best Featured Actress in a Musical for Sara Ramirez.

Spamalot is also launching its U.S. tour in Boston this March and is scheduled to play at the Wynn Las Vegas in 2007 upon completion of the custom built "Spamalot Experience and Grail Theatre" within the Wynn.

The Palace Theatre is currently home to the West End mounting of The Woman in White, which has not announced a closing date.
