About This Gallery

The cast of the Roundabout Theatre Company’s upcoming revival of military drama Streamers began its off-Broadway boot camp on October 1, falling in line at a meet and greet with the press. The show, about four young soldiers anxiously awaiting deployment during the Vietnam War, was written by playwright and former military man David Rabe, who nabbed a Tony Award nom (and landed a New York Drama Critics' Circle Award) for the play nine years after his own return from Vietnam. Directed by Roundabout Associate Artistic Director Scott Ellis, Streamers features Hale Appleman, Ato Essandoh, J.D. Williams and Brad Fleischer as the show’s central soldiers, as well as players Cobey Mandarino, Jason McDowell-Green, John Sharian, Larry Clarke and Charlie Hewson. Streamers begins performances November 11 at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre. Click here to meet the cast!
