Doughnuts, doughnuts, everywhere! When a play is called Superior Donuts, you know there’ll be pastry on stage, though the shop in Tracy Letts’ touching new comedy isn’t particularly well stocked (see it to understand why). But after the opening night performance on October 1, first-nighters had their pick of the most scrumptious selections from the Doughnut Plant—and everybody indulged, including the many stars who turned out to cheer Michael McKean and his fabulous co-star, Broadway.com Fresh Face Jon Michael Hill. The company and friends partied late into the night at Redeye Grill, and Broadway.com was on hand to capture all the fun (and sneak a creme brulee doughnut at midnight).
