Surviving Mommie Dearest chronicles the turbulent relationship between Christina Crawford (author of the 1978 autobiographical book Mommie Dearest) and her movie legend mother, Joan Crawford. The production features film clips and footage from Crawford home movies, as well as clips from Crawford’s documentary covering 100 years of showbiz history.
