Color Them One! The Color Purple Company Celebrates Its First Birthday
After a super-successful year on Broadway, the cast and crew of The Color Purple deserve a celebration—and that's just what they got on November 1 with a dinner party between shows at the elegant midtown Italian restaurant Remi. It was a time for the entire Color Purple company to come together and toast the continuing popularity of their show, and to say farewell to LaChanze, who would end her run as Celie the following weekend. Here's to a second great year!
