The Mel Brooks-Thomas Meehan musical gem The Producers took a joyride from the stage to the screen. The film version of the mega-hit musical (which features original stars Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick, Gary Beach and Roger Bart along with new additions Uma Thurman and Will Ferrell) premiered in New York at the legendary Ziegfeld Theatre on December 5. Stars of the stage and screen flaunted it on the red carpet and at the exclusive after-party. Here's to a booming box office, Bialystock and Bloom!
