New Jersey's first superhero takes the stage in this rock 'n' roll comedy.
The cast of The Toxic Avenger had itself a very happy Monday when the All-American Rejects paid the show a visit on April 27. A platinum-selling rock band from Stillwater, Oklahoma and a musical about a lime-green mutant from New Jersey might seem like an odd pairing to some. But Toxic’s not your average musical, after all. It's a rock musical co-written by original Bon Jovi member David Bryan. And one can detect a noticeable Bon Jovi influence within All-American Reject hits such as “Swing, Swing,” “Dirty Little Secret” and “Move Along.” Plus, the Toxic cast works very hard when it comes to being silly, and as you can see from these pics, the Rejects are pretty good at acting like goofballs, too.
