About Through the Night

What Is the Story of Through the Night?
In this one-man show, Daniel Beaty plays six different characters struggling with some type of conflict on the same eventful night. All the characters are linked and their lives intersect throughout the course of the show. The characters include an ex-con anxiously waiting in an emergency room as his girlfriend gives birth, a preacher struggling with an eating disorder, his closeted homosexual son dealing with a demanding job and enervated lover, a troubled youth turned high school graduate readying for college, a father straining to maintain his privately owned small business and his young son who only wants to see his father happy.
