What Is the Story of Unbroken Circle?
In Unbroken Circle, audiences are transported to Galveston, Texas, circa 1970, to a funeral, which Aunt June has attended to check out her brother-in-law, Travis’s will. Her sister, Ruby, is not all that heartbroken at her husband’s death. She just wants peace. Her son, Bobby, has trouble keeping jobs. He is driving a bus while he and his Yankee wife, Cheryl, and their two daughters, Cathy and Patti, live with his mother. Meanwhile Bobby’s twin, Edna, has come back home after a 20-year absence. The skeletons buried here unravel as 12-year-old Patti’s underwear is found between Travis’s mattress and the box spring. What happened in this house, to these lives, to this family?
