Cynthia Nixon confronts death with a dead-on performance in Wit, the first Broadway production of Margaret Edson’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play. The Tony and Emmy-winning actress stars as Vivian Bearing, a brilliant and exacting poetry professor undergoing experimental treatment for stage-four cancer. Joining Nixon are Pun Bandu as Technician, Suzanne Bertish as E.M. Ashford, Michael Countryman as Harvey Kelekian/Mr. Bearing, Jessica Dickey as Technician, Chiké Johnson as Technician, Greg Keller as Jason Posner, Carra Patterson as Susie Monahan and Zachary Spicer as Technician. We’ve got a first look at production shots of the Manhattan Theatre Club's production, which is currently in previews at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. Brevity may be the soul of wit, but Nixon and the cast of Wit portray a story that is timeless. Click through this gallery, then get your wits about you and head to Broadway to see her in action!
