It's alive! Mel Brooks' wickedly funny twist on Mary Shelley's classic story.
Hoping for another monster hit like The Producers, Mel Brooks and company roared into Broadway's Hilton Theatre on November 8th with the highly-anticipated musical adaptation of his comedy classic film Young Frankenstein. Starring a roster of Tony winners—Roger Bart (as Dr. Frederick Frankenstein), Sutton Foster (as Inga, the lab assistant), Andrea Martin (as Frau Blucher) and Shuler Hensley (as The Creature)—the multi-million dollar production, under the direction of Susan Stroman, also features Broadway comic pros Christopher Fitzgerald (as Igor), Fred Applegate (as Inspector Kemp and also the Hermit) as well as the long-awaited return to the Great White Way of Will & Grace Emmy winner Megan Mullally (as Dr. Frankenstein's fiancée Elizabeth). After the opening night bows, we joined the huge cast and their starry guests for an inspired party atop the Empire State Building. Check it out
