After the phenomenal international success of The Producers, it's only natural that Mel Brooks has dug into his vast resume of hit film comedies to find further inspiration for the stage. This time out, he's built a Broadway musical comedy out of Young Frankenstein, his well-loved comedic take on the classic Hollywood horror films of the '30s. Needless to say, there's incredible anticipation on the stem for the new musical, which reunites Brooks with Producers collaborators Susan Stroman and Thomas Meehan and features four Tony winners among its cast: Roger Bart as the title character, Shuler Hensley as the monster, Sutton Foster as sexy lab gal Inga and Andrea Martin as the mysterious Frau Blucher (cue the horses!).
