Tony Award and Drama Desk nominee, Elizabeth A. Davis (Once) comes to Feinstein’s/54 Below fresh off of her inaugural writing debut at Goodspeed Opera House with her new musical, Indian Joe. For her 54 Below solo debut, Elizabeth will share a variety of music, including her original songs from Indian Joe. The musical, based on true events, weaves the sounds of acoustic progressive folk with industrial pop. Be the first in NYC to hear Davis’ gorgeous score and story of overcoming prejudice, pride & fear to find family. The concert will include special guests Gary Farmer, Smithsonian Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient for Native American film, and the secret weapon in the journey of Once The Musical, artist Angelica Zollo. Expect instrumentation like you’ve never heard, includng: upright bass, two acoustic guitars, mandolin, banjo, two violins, two harmonicas, homemade drum kit, cajone, piano, and autoharp.
