About the Venue

One of Roundabout Theatre's locations. Originally the Henry Miller's Theatre which hosted Cabaret (before Studio 54). The Stephen Sondheim Theatre is the first LEED-certified Broadway theatre, which is a huge advancement for environmentally sustainable design for theaters.

Drinks and snacks are available for purchase on both levels of the theater.

Know Before You Go

Entrance
The theater is underground, however, every level is accessible via elevator. There are no steps into the theater.
Water Fountain
Water is available from water fountains, as well as at the bar.
Hearing Assistance
Assistive listening, handheld captions, and prerecorded audio devices available on all theater levels, free of charge. Photo ID is required.
Elevators and Escalators
This theater has an elevator.
Wheelchair Access
Wheelchair seating available in Orchestra section.
Restrooms
Main restrooms are located one level down in the lounge area. Wheelchair accessible restrooms available in the Orchestra level and Lounge.
Accessible Seating
Designated wheelchair and companion seating is located in the Orchestra section. Seats with folding armrests are also available.
