About the Venue

Palace Theatre opened in 1913 and became on of the world’s most famous vaudeville movie house—until its demise in the 1930s. In 1965 the Nederlanders purchased and renovated the theater, which became legitimate in 1966 with the opening of Sweet Charity.

After further renovations, the theater was transformed in 1994 as it housed Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and later Aida.

Concessions

There are bars located on all levels of the theatre serving mixed drinks, sodas, and candy for purchase. The bars begin serving patrons one hour before the performance begins.

Cloakroom service is available to patrons during the winter months. No bags or luggage will be checked.
