Her Name Is Barbra, and She's In the House at Fences

Sometimes the word “star” is used loosely when talking about celebrity guests at a Broadway show, but on May 11, it definitely applied to an audience member at Fences: Barbra Streisand! The show-biz legend made the scene at the Cort Theatre, eager to see the Tony-nominated performances of Denzel Washington, Viola Davis and Stephen McKinley Henderson in August Wilson’s play.
