In 1985 a little show called Nunsense debuted at the Cherry Lane Theatre. Twenty five years later, the hilarious musical has inspired several successful spin-offs and ranks as off-Broadway's second longest-running show. To celebrate the singing nuns' silver anniversary, author and director Dan Goggin has assembled a talented cast at the show’s original home. Watch as Goggin discusses how the show has evolved over 25 years and why it’s always worth revisiting. His ever devoted following of nuns Bonnie Lee (Reverand Mother Mary Regina), Bambi Jones (Sister Mary Hubert), Jeanne M. Tinker (Sister Mary Amnesia), and Stephanie Wahl (Sister Mary Leo) are also on hand to preach the gospel of what it’s like being sisters both on-stage and off. Amen!
