The Cast of Freckleface Strawberry Celebrates a New Sundae (and CD) at Serendipity 3

Sweet! That’s the verdict of the cast of Freckleface Strawberry, who gathered at Serendipity 3 on December 20 to sample a new sundae created in honor of their family-friendly off-Broadway musical. The recipe is a fruit lover’s delight: two scoops of strawberry ice cream covered in “strawberry freckled” topping, a mound of candy-malt ball-freckled whipped cream, plus candy strawberry blossoms and fresh strawberries. Title star Hayley Podschun and her castmates are also celebrating the release of the musical’s original cast album. All in all, the gang at Freckleface Strawberry (based on Julianne Moore’s children’s book) has plenty of reasons to indulge in a frozen treat.
