Elizabeth Marvel, Alex Timbers & More Celebrate Their 2011 Lortel Award Nominations

In anticipation of the upcoming Lucille Lortel Awards on May 1, the Off-Broadway League honored the 2011 nominees with an April 11 cocktail reception at Planet Hollywood Times Square. From Other Desert Cities actors Elizabeth Marvel and Thomas Sadoski to Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson co-writer and director Alex Timbers, the brightest lights of off-Broadway came together to celebrate their accomplishments. As previously announced, the awards will be presented on May 1 at NYU Skirball Center, hosted by off-Broadway alums Zach Braff (Trust) and Samantha Bee (Love, Loss and What I Wore). The Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway were created in 1985 by the Off-Broadway League, and recognize excellence off-Broadway by honoring the invaluable contribution of artists to the theater community.
