Exclusive Photos! War Horse Author Michael Morpurgo Joins the Cast for Matinee Performance

Michael Morpurgo, author of the 1982 children’s book War Horse, made his Broadway debut on December 14 in the Tony Award-winning stage play based on his novel. Morpurgo joined the company for the matinee performance as an ensemble member in the auction scene. This is the author’s second cameo in War Horse: He also joined the London company for a performance when the show first opened at the National Theatre.
