It’s a Fashionable Reunion for Ugly Betty's Vanessa Williams and Michael Urie at How to Succeed

Before Michael Urie was taking coffee breaks as Bud Frump in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, he played the scheming assistant to Wilhelmina Slater, the fashion magazine editor played by Vanessa Williams on TV’s Ugly Betty. On February 7, Williams took a trip to the Al Hirschfeld Theatre to support her former co-star in his Frump-tastic Broadway debut. Williams (who knows a thing or two about Broadway after starring in Into the Woods, Sondheim on Sondheim and The Kiss of the Spider Woman) cheered Urie’s humorous fall down the corporate ladder in How to Succeed, then headed backstage to reunite with her Ugly Betty partner in crime and meet pop star Nick Jonas.
