The 84th annual Academy Awards are on February 26, and while it’s always a treat to see who walks away with a golden statue, this year’s awards are especially exciting because several Broadway veterans are up for big prizes. In addition to Tony winners Viola Davis, Glenn Close and Janet McTeer, up-and-comer Jessica Chastain, who will be headlining the forthcoming Broadway revival of The Heiress, is also in the running.
