For its 50th anniversary celebration, the folks at the Dramatists Guild Fund knew they needed to come up with an extra-special honoree, and they did: legendary composer John Kander! The man behind the music of Cabaret, Chicago, Kiss of the Spider Woman, The Scottsboro Boys, Curtains and more was the man of the hour on June 3, when Broadway’s brightest stars gathered at the Mandarin Oriental New York for a gala dinner and performance.
