Olympians obviously love a good superhero tale! First came American gymnast Danell Leyva, and now champion rower Pete Reed has made his way to see Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark. Reed took home his second gold medal in a row as part of the British “men’s coxless four” rowing team. (Fun fact: the 6’6” athlete was born in Seattle but moved to England with his family as a baby.) Click through to see Reed share the gold with Reeve Carney and his delighted castmates, then get tickets to see Spider-Man at the Foxwoods Theatre.
