Before he takes Motown: The Musical to Broadway, music mogul Berry Gordy and his son Redfoo—best known as one half of electropop duo LMFAO, the musicians behind “Sexy and I Know It” and other songs you can’t ever get out of your head—brought their groove backstage to Broadway’s high-energy musical Bring It On on September 4. The show’s young cast of dancers is probably more than familiar with LMFAO’s signature brand of thumping party anthems, no doubt the perfect warm-up for cheerleading!
